NYE Celebration Saved by Summit South West
Great news! Busselton's New Year's Eve celebration is officially going ahead thanks to the generous support of Summit South West. This year's event will feature two live bands, a three-hour show and plenty more happening throughout the evening.
Rising event costs placed the Festival of Busselton's popular New Year's Eve celebration at risk of cancellation. The volunteer-run organisation called on local businesses and community partners to help protect the event, which typically attracts around 10,000 people to the Busselton Foreshore.
Meet the New Festival of Busselton Committee
The Festival of Busselton welcomed a refreshed committee featuring a mix of new and returning members. The volunteer team brings together fresh ideas, community experience and a shared commitment to continuing one of Busselton's longest-running summer traditions.
Planning is officially underway for the 2027 Festival of Busselton. The committee has begun developing another exciting summer program of free and affordable community events across Busselton, Vasse and Yalyalup.
